Sirovasthi

Sirovasthi is an effective treatment in Ayurveda for nervous system disorders. It is the term applied to the process of allowing warm herbal oils on the head for a specific period of time. It is known as the treatment or crown of calm.

Sirovasthi Treatment

You will be made to sit on a chair and a massage will be given to the head, neck and shoulder. The therapist will make a crown or hat using a rexine sheet and will paste it firmly around your head using a dough. This will form a well for the warm medicated oil to be retained on the head. Oil will be poured inside this well and is retained for about 30 – 45 minutes.
